Room Hire

Churchdown Club offers versatile spaces for celebrations, weekly clubs, business meetings, and community events. We do not charge for wakes or celebration of life events, and please note we no longer accept bookings for 18th birthday parties.

If you have been a member of the club for 12 months or longer, there is no charge for hire of the function room or skittle alley for a private party.

Function Room

Our function room can comfortably hold up to 85 guests, the room can be arranged to suit your event, there is a wooden dance floor with the rest of the room fully carpeted. Our function room has been popular for training events, it is light and airy and we have WIFI and a TV with HDMI links.

Available between 08:00 – 23:30. £50 per hour.

Skittle Alley

The skittle alley is a freshly decorated single lane alley with a spectator’s area. Please let us know if you require a ‘sticker’.

Available between 08:00 – 23:30 priced at £50 per hour.

Small Meeting Room

Priced at £25 per hour.

Commercial Kitchen

Our commercial kitchen is well designed for food preparation. Subject to our in-house food preparation times the kitchen is available for hire to external caterers. Please note anyone wishing to hire the kitchen will be required to show evidence of a level 2 (or higher) food hygiene certificate.

Priced at £50 per hour.

We are happy to cater for your event, please discuss your food requirements with us from a buffet to a seated meal.

Function Buffet Menu

Alcohol

For party bookings we require a 10% booking deposit followed by full payment 5 days before your hire. Your booking is not confirmed until deposit or payment has been received. Payment for hire and deposits is preferably by bank transfer.

Under the terms of our premises license NO alcohol can be brought into the venue by either outside caterers or individuals, please discuss with us and we can tailor your bar to your requirements.

Terms of Hire

If using external party facilities, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure arrangements are in place including access/egress. Please note that for bouncy castle hires we have a maximum ceiling height in the skittle alley of 7.8ft, please select a low ceiling height bouncy castle. Please leave the room as you find it with decorations cleared and ensure the walls are not damaged with adhesive, please do not use confetti. We operate a strict Challenge 25 Policy, all under 18’s must be accompanied at all times. We respectfully ask that celebrations and music continue no later than 11.15pm when we call last orders, at this point we will switch the room lights on allowing the room to be returned to how you found it, including all tables and chairs wiped and stacked.
