Fundraising

We're raising £125,000 to provide access for all to the Churchdown Club

Established in 1921 for ex-servicemen to have a place to meet after returning from war. The Churchdown Club is truly in the heart of Churchdown Village.

The Churchdown Club has a wide offering, including a licensed bar, skittle alley, function room, bowls green and tennis courts. We are also in the process of becoming both a donation and collection point for a community foodbank.

We passionately want all of our facilities to be available to all. This would include both wheelchair bowls and tennis.

We are fundraising through our own endeavors and donations to be able to provide both a lift and a ramp to provide access and also disabled toilets and wider doorways so that the Churchdown Club is truly accessible for all.

Support Churchdown Club After the Fire

Our community has been deeply saddened by the recent fire at Churchdown Club. Built by servicemen over 100 years ago

Since the fire, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness, encouragement and offers of help from residents, neighbouring communities and local businesses.

Every donation, no matter how large or small, will help us move forward and ensure that this valued community asset can once again serve the people who rely on it.

Thank you for your support.
